Jon Winker

Team Manager / Co-Founder
Army Specialist, Infantryman, left below knee amputee resulting from accident in Iraq in 2009.

Currently competes in pro-touring, autocross and time trial events. Attended Skip Barber’s Advanced Racing School in Mar 2019 and earned his SCCA Competition (Race) License

Calum Belden

Driver / Instructor
Marine Captain, 9yr career as an Infantry and Special Operations Officer with multiple deployments to Afghanistan, Korea, and the South Pacific with MARSOC.  

Lifelong passion for Auto Racing competing in SCCA Formula Continental Regional Races.  Head of People Operations for startups.

Driven by being able to prove to disabled veterans there are no hurdles too large. 

Adam Poppenhouse

Full Hand Controls Driver
Army Sergeant (Ret.), Adam became a double amputee after striking an IED in Iraq in 2006 while on patrol with 3rd Stryker Brigade. 

Following medical retirement, he found the best therapy was being around speed and eventually became a part owner of Atlantic Motorsports and supporting a race team in NASA STT. Though he has attended two different driving schools with automatic transmissions, he will rely on the innovative hand controls to participate with the team in the race series.

Adam knows the value of Throttle Therapy and is driven to help share those experiences with other warriors.

Deployed again twice with prosthetics (once back to Afghanistan as Executive Officer with his brother Nate) 

Currently on Staff for U.S. Senator Duckworth

Clay Hargitt

Race Engineer / Mechanic Mentor
Accomplished business owner and racer with more than 40 years of experience in racing and motorsports engineering that ranges from USAC oval series to SCCA road racing. 

Clay brings critical engineering, fabrication, and technical support to the team to ensure success during the initial developmental period.

Driven to honor the distinguished service of many generations of his family.
